Introduction and Episode 1 Release Details
So finally the Lanterns series has been released on JioCinema and Hotstar that too in Hindi language at 6:30 in the morning and I have completed watching it because only one episode has come till now, after watching which I would say that after watching the trailer I felt that this is going to be a very strong series and after watching this first episode also it seems that this is going to be a very strong series. But do you know what is amazing? This series will end in October. Yes, you heard it absolutely right. There are only eight episodes in it. But you can see on your screen when all the eight episodes will be released.

So we will have to wait a lot for this series. But after watching this first episode, it seems that this series is going to be very good.
Grounded Tone and Small-Town Murder Investigation
And this series is a very grounded series. Due to which some people might feel that this should have been a superhero one. He is a superhero. But here the story has been kept initially grounded and it is going to be an investigative series. There is going to be a detective series in which our heroes will investigate some murders.
Well, the story is about a small town where a mass shooting takes place. A match is going on at one place. Some people come there and kill many people. One of them is caught. The rest are still absconding. So we have to find out who did this mass shooting here and who did not because the police is looking at it differently. But our hero Hal Jordan sees it differently. His disciple is looking at it differently. Now I’m not going to go into what Hal Jordan thinks about this mass shooting and who did it because I think it would spoil the fun for a lot of people.
Space Elements and High Production Quality
But I am finding the series quite interesting and I feel that the series is going to become very interesting in the future. The series is grounded. Like the movie Green Lantern with Ryan Reynolds, space related things have not been seen in it yet and we will definitely get to see space related things in it because even after hearing it, it seems that yes, such things can be seen here and from the things that have happened in mass shooting, it also seems that we will get to see amazing things here.
Rest of the story wise, I feel that the series will do very well for now and the production quality is amazing. Besides, the series also seems to move in a non-linear way, which again makes it a little interesting and also reduces the issue of predictability a little.
Standalone Watchability and Mature Family Warning
Although how much will I judge within a single episode. But here, after watching the trailer, a vibe comes that this is going to be a very strong series and after watching its first episode also, the same vibe is coming that this is going to be a very strong series which we will definitely like and along with that, if you people are thinking that I do not know much about Green Lantern, I have not seen Superman, I have not seen this, I have not seen that, it does not matter, meaning literally you can watch it directly, I have also not seen anything, meaning I have seen it but even if I do not watch it, it does not matter, you can watch it directly.
And for now you cannot watch it with your family. A small scene can be seen in the first episode. Because of this you definitely cannot watch it and why should you watch it, you should watch it alone.
Technical Aspects, Hal Jordan Chemistry and Verdict
I feel that this series is definitely going to be very good. I am not making a prediction. I just feel like it will happen. It may be possible, it may not be possible. But if reports are to be believed then the series is going to be a good one. That’s why I wouldn’t like to rate the first episode too highly for now because it’s not right to judge too much on the first episode. But whatever superhero scenes are shown in it, the production quality is good.
The technical aspect, the cinematography, the performance of the actresses, the chemistry, all of them look very good to me. Especially the chemistry between Hal Jordan and his disciple looks very good. The feeling of father and son comes here. The way the villain has been set up or is being set up also looks quite good. That’s why I won’t rate it right now even though everything looks good. At least I should watch two-three episodes. Then I will see whether to rate it or not. Rest you can definitely start it. But if you want to wait, you can do so because its last episode will come in October.
